What’s the spice level?
Shot in the Dark is a sloooow burn, with low/no spice in book one but plenty of delicious tension. In book one, there is a closed door scene in chapter three, a kiss, and scattered conversations about sexuality/pleasure. For this reason, we recommend this book for readers aged 15 and up. Books 2 and 4 will have slightly more steam, as currently outlined.
Is this a standalone or part of a series?
This is book one in an exciting six book series, as currently outlined. All books will follow the same protagonists introduced in book one. We will also have several novellas coming in this universe!
Any content warnings or triggers?
While triggers vary book to book, some prominent TWs include: Kidnapping/captivity, death of a parent, profanity, blood, gun violence, alcohol, discussion of pregnancy/infertility, homophobia (from the villain, don’t worry), animal cruelty.
